The Mendon-Upton Regional School District Enrichment Program is a self-funded extra-curricular program that takes place before or after school at H. P. Clough School, Memorial School, and Miscoe Hill School. The Mendon-Upton Regional School District Enrichment Program was founded to offer classes that extend the learning for our students beyond the classroom and school day. The Mendon-Upton Regional School District is dedicated to shaping the well-rounded child through socialized activities in many areas including the arts, physical fitness, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math), and mindfulness.
Four sessions of classes are offered each school year. Each class meets seven times for one hour each week. Sessions are scheduled for seven weeks plus one make-up week at the end of the session for a total of eight weeks. The cost to enroll in a class is $45 plus a $5 materials fee as applicable. If school is canceled or delayed for any reason, Enrichment classes will also be canceled and will not be made up. If the instructor cancels an Enrichment class, or if it falls on a scheduled holiday or release day, the class will be made up at the end of the session or through extending the time of regularly scheduled classes.
Please be aware that there is not a nurse on staff during enrichment classes. Should a child become ill or injured during class, a parent/guardian will be called. If a child becomes seriously ill or injured during class, emergency medical services will be called.
