Welcome to iParent
Dear Parents/Guardians of students in Grade 5 through 8:
We are pleased to continue with our online access for parents, through iParent, for student grades and attendance at Miscoe Hill School. iParent is part of iPass which is the Student Information System used by the Mendon-Upton Regional School District.
The goal of this program is to improve communication between home and school by providing parents with timely access to attendance and grades. Please know that teachers will update their grade book every two weeks. Please read the materials posted on the Mendon-Upton Regional School District website, www.mursd.org under the section Parent, Parent Home Page, where you will find the iParent User’s Guide, Frequently Asked Questions, iParent Account Application and iPass/IParent Login.

In order to maintain secure web access, an encryption method, SSL is employed. SSL protects data transmitted using an Internet browser. By accepting the Acceptable Use Guidelines, you agree to the practices and communication expectations. Inappropriate access or misuse of the system will result in loss of access.
To register for an iPass/iParent account, see the instructions below:
Step 1: Please read the Acceptable Use Guidelines on the Mendon-Upton Regional School District’s web page under Academics, MURSD Technology, scroll down to MURSD Acceptable Use Policy .
Step 2: Go to the website for Mendon-Upton Regional Schools www.mursd.org, and go to the section “Parents, Parent Homepage”. Click on the link for iParent Account Application Form. Fill in the Account Application Form.
Create your own user ID and password.
The user ID and password should not be shared with your child. Please note that you will need your child’s Student ID number when entering information on this page. The Student ID number can be found on the top of your child’s schedule or report card.
Click on submit for approval. You can access your account in approximately one week.
Step 3: To access the Parent Login page, go to www.mursd.org. Under the section “Parents, Parent Homepage”, click on the link for iPass/iParent.
NOTE: When logging in to iPass/iParent, please be aware that you will only be allowed three attempts before your account becomes inactive. If this happens, you will have to e-mail the iPass account manager at email@example.com in order to be reactivated.
