Memorial Elementary

We are thankful for our district's partnership with the Spanish Embassy. One program we benefit from is the opportunity to host Spanish Language and Culture Assistants. This program gives U.S. students the opportunity to learn Spanish language and culture from native speakers. Similarly, the assistants have the opportunity to learn about U.S. culture and practice their English. The assistants are typically college students in their senior year who are studying Education and English/Spanish. We are seeking a host family (or more than one to split the time over the year) for our assistant. She will be here from September through April. This opportunity is open to all families.
