ABOUT OUR SCHOOLS
The Mendon-Upton Regional School District (MURSD) consists of four schools: the Memorial Elementary School in Upton, the Henry P. Clough Elementary School in Mendon, Miscoe Hill Middle School in Mendon, and Nipmuc Regional High School in Upton. Students from Upton in grades PK-4 attend Memorial and students from Mendon in grades PK-4 attend Clough.
At present time there are approximately 2,200 students in the district. The MURSD is also a "choice" district as we accept students from nearby districts on a lottery basis based upon seats available at the school and grade level.
Using traditional assessment results such as MCAS scores, SAT results and AP scores, the MURSD consistently performs in the top 20% in the Commonwealth. While we are proud of these results, we are also proud of other outstanding programming, such as: our nationally recognized K-12 Spanish Immersion Program, our 1:1 learning initiative which seamlessly integrates technology in grades 5-12, performing and visual arts programs that push student creativity, and an athletics program that stresses fair play and sportsmanship.
The mission of the MURSD guides all programming and decision-making: to provide a competitive advantage to all students so they may be successful in college/postsecondary study and beyond.
