Congratulations to Junior Olivia DaSilva who started the Nipmuc Chapter of Becca's closet with today being her kick-off day!
Becca’s Closet is a non-profit organization that collects used prom and homecoming dresses and distributes them to those in need in our community. The new chapter at Nipmuc will be collecting dresses and accessories on the first Friday of every month starting today. These items can be brought to the lobby and left on the rack or in the bins provided. If you would like, you can also pick up a tax donation receipt, which will be available when you drop off dresses, shoes and/or accessories. In the future, the chapter plans to host dates where these dresses can be distributed to those who need them.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of The Lightning Thief on their successful weekend of performances! The Nipmuc Drama Guild has been rehearsing for the past twelve weeks in order to bring this beloved book series to life on stage. Our student actors, singers, stage managers, and tech crew came together this weekend to put on four fantastic shows, and would like to thank everyone who attended, donated raffle prizes, and all of the parent volunteers who supported us. We hope to see you again in April for the next Drama Guild performance: the senior-directed One Act Plays! Stay tuned for more details. #nipmucpride

Inspired Learning Day is underway! We are tapping into our students' passions and curiosities today. Sessions include everything from learning to make homemade guacamole, a Model UN simulation, knitting, having representatives from the Best Buddies program and even students at the Museum of Science exploring AI and the use of drones in the arctic. #nipmucpride

The financial literacy fair is underway for our sophomore class. Students are learning about things such as interest rates, risk-benefit analysis, and fluency in “lingo” that relates to financial literacy (i.e. credit, debt, investment, etc.), and more. We want to thank all of our community partners for taking time out of their days to help teach the students through these interactive activities. #nipmucpride
