The K-12 Climate Change Challenge is off and running. Thank you to Mr. Gorman and Ms. Daniels for organizing this two-day event that kicked off today. Thank you also to all of our special guests and student volunteers that made today possible. In this week's student feature we are excited to highlight Nipmuc senior soccer player, Kyah Montano. Kyah recently scored her 100th career goal at Nipmuc during the Central Mass Semi-Final game. Today we hosted over 100 international fellows from the National Defense University (NDU) in Washington DC. This group of future diplomats from across the globe were able to get a glimpse of American education and had the chance to meet with and shadow our students. Thank you to all of our student ambassadors. It was a great day and wonderful opportunity for our students. #nipmucpride #MURSD
There is no school this Friday, September 20 as it is a full day teacher professional development day.
Today we welcomed 16 students and 2 teachers from the Divina Pastora School in León Spain. Thank you to Sra. Soto for planning this trip as part of our Spanish exchange program and for the Nipmuc families that are hosting these students. We were excited to welcome our guests this morning and are looking forward to having them over the next two weeks. #nipmucpride
