We are looking forward to hosting all Nipmuc parents and guardians next week at the Open House. This is a great chance to meet your student(s) teachers for this year, learn about the focus of each classroom and get new updates from the principals for an exciting year ahead.

Thank you to our Vista and DECA programs for bringing cookie Friday back for another school year. The students were lined up during breaks and you could smell the fresh baked cookies throughout the halls of Nipmuc! #nipmucpride

Ms. Moloney's Spanish class making the rounds to learn about what each classmate did this summer. (La clase de español de la Sra. Moloney está de gira para aprender sobre lo que hizo cada compañero de clase este verano.)

We are ready for a great year at Nipmuc. We couldn't have asked for a better day for the annual school-wide picnic! So happy to have our students back in the building and excited for a great year ahead. #nipmucpride

Attention all athletes... we look forward to hosting you and your parents/guardians at the Fall Sports Information Night on Monday, August 21 at 6:30pm.

The countdown to the new school year is on!!! Check out the most recent edition of the @NipmucRegional newsletter for updates on athletics, reminders about summer reading, and more. Newsletters can be found on the "News" section of this website. If you are not receiving newsletters, feel free to sign up by emailing nipmucmainoffice@mursd.org.

Mark your calendars for the Freshman and New Student Orientation on Thursday, August 24 from 5pm -6:30pm. Students will have the opportunity to walk the halls of Nipmuc and familiarize themselves with their schedule for the first days of school. While students participate in the orientation, parents will be able to take part in their own orientation session. Please note that these sessions are optional for students and parents. There is no requirement to attend.

The summer reading list can be found at bit.ly/NipmucSummerReading2023. The books were chosen to appeal to a range of interests and reading abilities. Please take advantage of the different formats to access books, including through your local libraries or using the Libby or Sora app. Prefer an audio format? That's great! Choose which method works best for you to read, explore, and grow. The list can also be accessed on the media center's website at nipmucmedia.weebly.com or in or in the June 20, 2023 Nipmuc Newsletter.

A special treat arrived for Spring Wellness Week and we couldn't have picked a better day - 78 degrees in Upton!

Voting is underway! Students and teachers have begun to vote for this year's Art Show poster design. There are currently 70 student art pieces in the lobby. The top 10 favorites will be incorporated into this year's design. Check out our talented artists. #MURSD #nipmucpride

The After Prom Party is a tradition at Nipmuc that has been organized and run by parents for years. This event can't take place unless the After Prom Party Committee has enough parent volunteers. Please consider donating your time and reach out about tonight's zoom call (see their message below)
The After Prom Party for Nipmuc High School is still looking for volunteers for the committee. There will be a zoom meeting tonight Tuesday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. Interested parties should send their information to nipmucapp@mursd.org to be added to the meeting. Volunteering would include planning, setting up, and helping at the event itself. Prom is on Friday, May 12th and the After Prom Party runs from when the students get back to the school until 5 am on Saturday. Decorating begins when the buses leave for Prom. Please consider joining us in making this a HUGE success on the limited amount of time we have to plan.

The stage is set and we are only 7 hours away from opening night! Best of luck to our drama students that have worked so hard. Their efforts will show on stage tonight and all throughout the weekend as they showcase their talents in Beauty and the Beast. Tickets have sold quickly but there are still seats available. You can purchase them at the door for $15 adult ticket or $10 for students and seniors. #nipmucpride

Just a reminder that there is no school for students tomorrow.

Over the next few months we will be featuring a piece in our weekly newsletter called "Meet the Class of 2023" as we celebrate our amazing seniors and countdown to graduation. We asked them to share 2-3 words of what they think of when they think of Nipmuc and also what they are most looking forward to leading up to graduation. Join us in celebrating this resilient and wonderful class! #nipmucpride

Tonight's spring sports informational meeting has been rescheduled due to the inclement weather. It will be a virtual meeting rescheduled for Sunday March 19 at 7:00pm with team meetings to follow. Please see your email for the zoom link.

Best of luck to our Nipmuc athletes competing today!
